  Whenever I need your help, and beseech your assistance in a letter, you will write a letter advising me to pray, and Jehovah will provide. I've needed financial assistance and this was the most you have done for me. It was SO faith-strengthening! I did get evicted but I know Jehovah allowed me to be tested.

  Anyway, I think it's only fair that when YOU need material assistance in funding your work, maintaining your buildings, or making sure your bethel family has food, I will keep your letter in mind and ask that you pray, and allow Jehovah to provide. Yep, that annual article about how to donate in November mags, I will say it was good food at the proper time, BUT Jehovah will take care of you. All the while keeping my unrighteous riches to myself.

  Is that ok with you? Well, it better be.

  Why is 'Watchtower' BEFORE 'Bible' in the name, Watchtower Bible and Tract Society? Ain't the Bible supposed to be more important?

  How large is Societies legal department?

  i was just thinking about the wt attack on education and wondered where they would be without it.. does anyone know how large the legal department is at bethel?

  is it larger than the writing department?

  service department?

  I'm not sure what his post-education stipulation specifics are.

  I have known of brothers who needed expensive surgery, and society paid for it on the basis they remain with the 'family' for a certain amount of time, though. I would not be surprised if that was the case with him.

  He is married, so they know he won't leave for that.

  I did, because I was always considered the go-to elder. I loved the friends. They loved me back. It was never about pushing organizational rules, or appearing spiritual, but love.

  I never did shepherding calls in a suit. I'd dignify the brother/sister and wear clean pants and nice shirt, but we are a family. I tried to be a real friend. If something was wrong, there was no need to show up looking like a business man.

  I always kept letters of introduction brief and NEVER gave out info of a persons disfellowshipping or reproof (if either was lifted) no matter how recent. It was forgiven by Jehovah, why bring it back up, I reasoned.

  Many other rules and instructions never flew with me. Ironically, that's why I've always felt genuine love of the friends.

  I haven't been to a meeting/service in a few weeks. I left cold turkey. The friends likely assume I have an assigment somewhere.

  It isn't official word I'm an apostate in the congregation yet. I will see in time if it the love is real or not...

  In 2007 they sent a brother from Wallkill to Patterson's legal dept. He is still receiving a legal education.

  Edit: My source is I know the brother personally. I don't feel comfortable giving out his name. For me, it's not just a rumor, I can GUARANTEE it. For everyone else, I am sorry I can't provide more info than that.

  Reread August 15 2012 Watchtower on WT Library 30 years from now.

  It will read completely different. If there is some bad phenomena in 2015 in NYC, that article will then be modified and revisited so show how they are on top of their "stuff".

  personally, i believe the watchtower organization is the real apostate!.

  The nation of Israel turned apostate. Biblically, they were God's chosen nation because of covenant with Abraham.

  JW's are NOT in a covenant relationship with God, but the whole 'organization' can still turn apostate, just like Israel. So in that case, following the leaders will led the followers into apostasy.

  Therefore, since apostasy is against Jehovah, not a group, men, nation, or organization even if they are proven to represent God, those that still strive to serve God are not apostates, scripturally speaking.

  But we all have proof, GB does not represent Jehovah, so no harm done.
